**Special Order Limited Supply**
The PKM is a Soviet general purpose machine gun (GPMG) variant of the PK machine gun, designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov in the early 1960s, it was put into service with the Soviet armed forces and is still currently used today.
This airsoft version is made from steel and aluminium with real wood furniture.
The gun comes with a 5000rd steel electric feed magazine, this also serves to hold the main battery for the gun and also powers the box magazine with switching between auto, on and off.
Adjustable sights and steel bi-pod are fitted as standard, one thing we did notice is just how positive the top cover secures on this AEG.
The PGC style gearbox is bigger than that found on the M249 and makes spring swaps easy and also features the variable fire control system.
On the PKM this system has been up-dated and A&K have opted for a electronic system that incorporates a selector to allow the user to select amp’s required depending on battery used, we do recommend not to adjust the system from the factory setting as specified in the instruction manual.
For further information please see relevant section in manual supplied. To sum this gun up is simple, if you want a support gun that will stand out from the crowd with intimidation factor, the PKM has got to be on the short list.
The battery you can use on this airsoft PKM is very flexible with choice as it is housed in the metal magazine, the hop-up is adjusted via the top cover and has an extra long inner barrel of 510mm
